Don't Scam Grandma

Privacy and Cookies Policy

Effective date: July 17, 2026

Silversight, Inc. operates Don't Scam Grandma. This policy explains the information practices of the current public website and early access in plain language.

1. Scope and who we are

This policy applies to dontscamgrandma.com, early access signup on that site, and related operational communications. Silversight, Inc. is responsible for the personal information collected through these services.

Don't Scam Grandma is currently a pre-launch service. This policy does not claim that future recipient or calling features are already in operation. Before any feature involving recipient information, consent, call content, recordings, or transcripts is introduced, we will make explicit product and privacy decisions and update this policy as appropriate.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you sign up for early access, we collect the email address you submit, the date and time of the submission, and any referral identifier you enter or that is carried by a sharing link you used. We also create two personal sharing links for your signup and deliver them in your confirmation email. If a valid personal or campaign identifier is used, we store the attribution relationship in the Don't Scam Grandma database.

Operational processing

Our database, hosting, security, and email-delivery systems process the limited information needed to receive an early access request, store it, protect the site, troubleshoot service issues, and deliver early access communications. Referral records are owned and controlled by Don't Scam Grandma; they are not imported from or shared with another Silversight product.

Analytics information

In production, Google Analytics may collect the following when the site loads and as you interact with it:

  • Google Analytics cookies and similar online identifiers
  • Device and browser information
  • Approximate location
  • The referring site or page
  • Pages viewed
  • Navigation, call-to-action, FAQ, early access outcome, social-sharing, and referral-type events

Information outside the current site

The current website and early access form do not collect:

  • Recipient names, phone numbers, or other recipient information
  • Call content
  • Call recordings
  • Call transcripts

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Record and manage early access signups.
  • Attribute signups to a personal sharing link or reusable campaign code.
  • Send confirmation, service, and launch-related email.
  • Operate, secure, monitor, and troubleshoot the website.
  • Understand which pages and interactions are useful.
  • Improve the website and plan the product.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not configure Google Analytics for advertising personalization, remarketing, demographics reporting, or user-ID measurement.

4. Cookies and Google Analytics

The production site uses Google Analytics 4, an analytics service provided by Google. Analytics loads when the production page loads and uses cookies and similar identifiers to distinguish browsers and measure website activity. Development and staging builds do not load the Google tag.

We send page-view and approved interaction events manually so reports use stable identifiers rather than visible wording. Manual page locations and referrers exclude query strings and fragments. The tag is configured with Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals disabled.

Google Analytics does not receive your early access email address, referral code, referral URL, form contents, API response messages, recipient information, call content, recordings, or transcripts. A successful signup may include only a controlled referral type. A social-sharing event includes only which public sharing option you selected, such as LinkedIn, X, Mastodon, email, or copy link. Our Analytics implementation sends only the page and interaction fields described in this policy.

Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, read the Google Privacy Policy, or review the Google Analytics Terms.

You can limit Analytics by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We use providers that process information on our behalf to operate the current site. Their responsibilities are limited to the services they provide.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the service, investigate fraud or security issues, or support a corporate transaction. Any successor would remain responsible for the information under applicable law.

6. Data retention and security

We retain early access and referral information for as long as reasonably needed to manage early access, provide requested launch communications, measure referral attribution, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion using the contact information below. Deleting a signup also removes the personal codes it owns and removes its personal or campaign attribution relationship. Limited copies may remain temporarily in backups or security records until their normal deletion cycle completes.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information associated with your early access signup. A person who shared a link with you never receives your identity or signup status from us. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or appeal a decision about a request.

We may need to verify your request before acting on it. You may also opt out of early access email using the instructions in a message or by contacting us at privacy@silversight.ai.

You may have the right to complain to a privacy or data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

8. Children’s privacy

The current early access is intended for adults interested in protecting family members. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

9. International processing

Silversight, Inc. and its service providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or product changes. We will post the revised policy here, update the effective date, and provide additional notice when required. Material new practices involving recipient information, consent, calls, recordings, or transcripts require a separate privacy review before implementation.
